 So Georgia Aquarium’s finally opened. I just found out that they have a wedding banquet inside the aquarium where your guests can watch the the sea lives while sipping on champange. How nice! My sister and cousin told me tthat i should have my wedding there but we were thinking of serving sushi and sashimi for the reception. That is so wrong. Now we only get to pick one or the other.

  Do women give their men engagement gifts?? I know that the bride gives her groom a gift on their wedding day.. I was reading the Bridal Guide, and they mentioned about engagement gift. I’ll save money for a bigger one later.

  Planning for my big day.

  It’s my sister Lam’s wedding this Saturday and Im so excited. We went shopping for her shoes yesterday and I ended up buying a dress for myself. I told the sale lady that its for my sister’s wedding, and she look at my sister and said “you dont look nervous at all”. Are people nervous days before their wedding day? My sister doesnt seem nervous about it at all but i think she is more nervous about how the weather’s gonna be. Her ceremony will be outdoor and the reception in the garden tent. I hope that day will be as nice as its been this week.

   This is amazing. Punch in your high school or college and the year you attended. All your school pictures appear… all group pictures, athletic teams, senior  pictures, etc. Really a neat web site,especially if you have lost your school photos. Don’t know how they do it, but check it out. It works even for international schools. It’s amazing – just do a search and you’ll be surprised!

I feel so fortunate for myself and sorry for those who lost their love ones and everything from Katrina. I was in Miami two days after she hit and everything was fine, so I didn’t realize it was so bad until i saw the disaster in New Orleans two days later. Now i have to turn my head away and not look at the TV screen. Hope that everyone can help a little to the unfortunate. As for me, I decided to take out $500 from my winning money in Las Vegas to donate to the Salvation Army. God, please bless them all.

   Being sick sucks..I didnt get out of the house except that i had to walk to dogs. I was bored and i found these.

  It’s been a long time since bf and I have a same day off together. We’ve done the most usual things but I treasure every moment of the day.. First off, we played with the dogs for a little bit and did some laundry..then we went to eat Dim sum, then to Ikea, ran errands together, went shopping, sat down at Grape for a glass of red wine, visited my Mom, went to the movie, and had a nice long talk over coffee and cheesecake. Yup, it sounds boring but we sometimes need a boring day like that.

  When we were at the Gucci store checking out on the shoes, we saw Usher was picking out some woman shoes too. He was wearing the most colorful sweat suit and didn look as good as he is on TV. Well, at least he is sweet enough to pick out some shoes for his woman.. A quality that we women love in the men.

 Thanks everyone for birthday wishes..I had a fabulous birthday this year in Miami with great company, great friends, and lots of presents. Pictures will be on when I have time..Now back to work and paying bills.
