I feel so fortunate for myself and sorry for those who lost their love ones and everything from Katrina. I was in Miami two days after she hit and everything was fine, so I didn't realize it was so bad until i saw the disaster in New Orleans two days later. Now i have to turn my head away and not look at the TV screen. Hope that everyone can help a little to the unfortunate. As for me, I decided to take out $500 from my winning money in Las Vegas to donate to the Salvation Army. God, please bless them all.

that's very generous of you .. course if i had that much money i'd donate also .. i only donated 5 bucks.. grrr.. that's all i got to my name till next week since gas just keeps going up.. GRRR!

I totally agree w. you. I know it's must be devastating to loose everything you have. What really got to me are the stories of people looking for missing family members. I just hope each of those story ends out to be a happy one. That's very generous of you to donate that much money. I too donated but it's not nearly that much.
